Jarem Frye

Jarem Frye didn't learn marketing in a classroom. He learned it by building a global company out of a two-bedroom apartment, with no marketing department except himself.

The first company

From an invention to a global business

As a patent-holding inventor, Jarem created the world's first energy-storing prosthetic knee. The technology changed what athletes with limb loss could do on the mountain, and it played a major role in getting snowboarding into the Paralympic Games as an official sport.

He then turned that invention into a global business:

  • Global in year one. He took the company from a startup in his apartment to an international operation within its first year.
  • Sales doubled every year for his first four years in business.
  • Distributors abroad within three years in Norway, Russia, Switzerland, Germany, England, Israel and more.
  • Six countries in one trip. He ran marketing and PR in up to six countries on four continents in a single business trip, adjusting the message for each market.

Once Jarem had proven the demand, much larger companies that dominated the industry moved into the space. His company remained the leader in the field he created anyway.

Why ZenFish Marketing

Doing the work he loved most

As imitations crowded that market, Jarem took an honest look at what he loved most, and the answer was clear. For years he had spent his spare time helping other businesses with their digital presence and marketing strategy, without charging for it, because it was his true passion.

He passed the torch of his prosthetics company and took a full-time role building and managing the digital marketing program for a billion-dollar-plus company. On the side, he began advising millionaires and billionaires, and that work grew into his own agency, ZenFish Marketing.

Today Jarem brings that experience to companies as a Fractional CMO. He and the ZenFish Marketing team specialize in digital marketing. In this role he isn't the person who does all the work. He's the leader who makes sure your team's work pays off. He guides and manages your marketing team toward effective results and efficient use of their skills, and he sets priorities based on profit, the only difference that matters.
